Last week we farewelled our 2020 cohort of Year 12’s. This group of students have faced more than most during their last year of high school and we commend them for their resilience and determination.
There were many events that took place throughout the week. For the first time in years the students took out the staff vs student soccer match followed the next day by the official last day for our year 12’s that included the annual breakfast with some spectacular outfits on display. An emotional whole school assembly followed with the day culminating with the students 2020 Presentation Night.
Principal Dainon Couzic thanked everyone for their support, organisation and hard work to ensure our Year 12’s had a memorable last day and graduation ceremony. He went on to say that there are ‘some real success stories in this cohort that deserve to be celebrated. These students would not be where they are today without everyone pulling in the same direction.’
Congratulations to all our award winners with special mention to Willow Dodd and Imogen Harris who were named DUX of VET and ATAR respectively.
