At Busselton Senior High School we value and celebrate the diverse cultures of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families. We are fully committed to improving outcomes for Indigenous students and helping each to succeed at school.
The Stars Foundation program is located here at Busselton Senior High School. They offers personal development, activities and experiences in many different areas for young Indigenous female students from Year 7 through to Year 12.
The program is tailored to meet the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and young women, with the aim of promoting positive education, employment and life outcomes.
Stars Foundation staff support the students to take part in community, cultural and volunteering activities to build their life skills and confidence, and to further develop their links to culture and community.
